A Learning Environment With Space to Learn, Think and Grow
Hands On Academy's home-based educational environment includes seven classroom spaces, dedicated practical-learning facilities and outdoor areas for recreation and social activities.
Classroom Spaces
The Academy has seven separate classroom spaces, providing a smaller educational setting in which learners can work within their grade and learning environment. Classrooms include visual material, educational displays and other learning aids intended to support the classroom environment.
Consumer & Hospitality Facilities
Hands On Academy has a dedicated Consumer and Hospitality classroom with a fully equipped kitchen.
The kitchen arrangement also includes a separate stove used to accommodate Muslim learners, on which pork is not prepared. This describes the Academy's kitchen arrangement and is not a claim of formal Halaal certification.
Dining, Study & Library Area
The Academy has a dining area which also serves as a study space and contains a library, creating another environment in which learners can read, work and spend time outside the conventional classroom.
Outdoor Spaces
The premises include a garden with sport and play facilities together with an assembly/lunch quad. Different outdoor areas provide both quieter and more active environments.
Quiet Outdoor Area
A more secluded seating area with benches provides a calmer space for learners who prefer quieter surroundings.
Active Recreation Area
A larger outdoor area provides space for active recreation and includes equipment such as a trampoline and tyres/play equipment.
